I had a brief consultation with Dr Grosser at The William Harvey yesterday.
I have some previous medical knowledge and it was a pleasure to talk to someone who took that into account. He took time to talk me through my ECG’s and their significance. And to discuss my care pathway and the rationale behind it.
I left feeling very reassured.

Dr Grosser thinks out of the box. I had complained to my Gp's that my thought process had become noticeably impaired for over a decade. They even diagnosed Alzheimer's but Dr Grosser, despite being my heart specialist quickly recognized a correlation between a proton pump inhibitor and a rare side effect that does inhibit memory. Since removing the drug my ability to collect words from my memory and shape sentences has vastly improved. I have taken this drug for 14 years yet not a single GP suggested that it was the cause for my memory impairment. The quality of my life has improved beyond words so thank you.

Excellent care and attention. My angiogram passed so quickly which I am sure was all due to the reassuring bedside manner of Dr Grosser both before and during the procedure.

Excellent listening and communication skills. Explained issue and discussed possible solutions. The procedure was carried out on schedule and after care was again excellent. Thankfully, no problems post surgery so far!!
