Lovely doctor as i had a bad chest infection and he was told i was in waiting room and he came out to me and took me to a bay to lay on bed while he was dealing with another patient and as soon as he finished he said 111 should have sent me straight to JR as he said i could have a collapse lung or fluid round my lung Could not fault him in any way all he did was look at me and said i needed to go now, he said i can get an ambulance to take you but that would be a 2hr wait so he asked my wife if she was ok to take me so my wife and dr kommu helped me to the car as every time i was moving i was getting breathless so he waited with me till my wife got the car closer so i didnt have to walk far

I saw Dr Karuna last Saturday at the Urgent care in Oxford, with my 4years old daughter who was having high temperature. I took her to the emergency and they thought she wasn’t that bad and sent me to the out of hours GP they have in front of emergency entrance. The doctor who visited my daughter there said she just has a viral infection and nothing bad but after that my daughter kept having high temperature and ibuprofen and paracetamol wouldn’t take it down. She kept having high temperature up to 40c . Then I called 111 and they sent me to the urgent care. As soon as Dr Karuna saw my daughter he knew that she had Tonsillitis. He prescribed antibiotics for my daughter and he was so nice to my daughter, he was very polite and very friendly, and very capable at his job. I really wish all the doctors were like him.
