Mr Stock partially removed both of my meniscus’s which I damaged through a fall in July. From first contact with him, which was a virtual call, to meeting him, he made me feel totally comfortable and relaxed, which I felt was of great importance at any time. However, during the current COVID crisis, it was a massive plus! He was very clear with what he was going to do during my operation, and even took the time to call me on the Saturday morning, post operation, to explain everything to me and his findings. When I was struggling to find a hands on physiotherapist, he took the time (via his PA) to direct me to one in Wellingborough. Totally happy with Mr Stock and feel, I chose the right consultant!

David Stock undertook a hip replacement for me. Surgery took place at 0900hrs and I left hospital the following day at 1230hrs having required minimal pain relief. Preoperative, operative, and post operative procedures were first class. It was a privilege to be in the care of an outstanding consultant and I unreservedly recommend him.

David Stock made me feel at ease from the moment I walked into his surgery and I was quite nervous, not knowing what to expect. He listened intently about my knee condition and gave me time to ask the questions I had. Everything was explained to me in terms that I could understand. I was referred to Mr Stock after being in quite severe pain for 8 months. He quickly made the correct diagnosis and treated it accordingly at a second appointment. I can now walk pain free and this has improved my ability to walk correctly. I have taken his advice on how to continue keeping myself well. Mr Stock and his team treated me so well and looked after me every step of the way. I am extremely grateful for the professional and friendly way I have been treated.

I have nothing but praise for Mr Stock. In all the time I have been treated by him he has shown a great commitment to my health and welfare; even when I developed an unexplained skin reaction. I am very happy with the surgery performed. My new knee has given me back my life. I thank him for the support he has given me throughout the year.

After my initial visit in August 2019. Mr Stock gave me a diagnosis and some advice on what to do with my knee. Which had been getting worse over the last year and half. I then saw Mr Stock with a follow up appointment as I was not getting any better. Following an MRI he then recommended a Anthroposcopy to remove some floating bits around my knee which I agreed. I had this procedure done in late January. Mr Stock was very professional and clear in his manner, although sometimes talking bit too quick for my brain to register what he was saying. But all in all the operation went very well. He even came and spoke to me as soon as I was awake in recovery. I am now 4 weeks post op and the three wounds are healing very nicely. I still have a way to go in recovery, but the outlook is better than it was. Thank you
