I recently saw Mr Qureishi as an NHS patient for a condition which was very likely to be benign, but which could have been caused by rare, yet, serious conditions such as a brain tumour. He was enormously kind, clear, professional and informative in our consultation, going out of his way to explain all the key information. I was hugely impressed by his knowledge, thoughtfulness and communication skills and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

After a serious car accident in 1984, I have not had a functioning nose. Only being able to breathe on one side, also the appearance was unflattering to say the least. Four unsuccessful operations later, I was referred to Mr Qureishi. He operated on 23/05/25 rebuilding my nose using my rib, it was a very long surgery but at all times I felt cared for and confident in him and his amazing team. I am still in shock at the fantastic results , not only can I breathe but it looks amazing. Such a talented surgeon, I am thrilled it’s life changing, so many thanks…

Mr Qureishi is just amazing. He gave me an immediate feeling of trust, and explained to me very clearly what the procedure will involve and what I can expect from the results. He demeanour is very professional yet down to earth (and actually has a sense of humour too which is nice). He’s very good at using layman’s terms and examples to help translate medical terminology to ensure the patient truly understands what it is he is trying to explain. I was originally referred to Mr Qureishi for a severely deviated septum which had been gradually reducing my quality of life for around ten years. I had lost all breathing in my right nostril, I kept getting sever headaches, and my nose was visibly crooked which also gave me self esteem issues, and frankly I had been suffering from depression as a part of that. The decision was made to have a septorhinoplasty. After further inspection before surgery I was given the option to have an “open” septorhinoplasty, which is a much more involved procedure with longer healing times but with a higher chance of success. Despite my incredible fear of medical intervention and the crippling anxiety I felt before the procedure, mr Qureishi and his team somehow managed to make me feel relaxed and ensured no pain or discomfort was felt (of which I felt absolutely nothing). I left the hospital that day with the opinion that I would happily pay more taxes towards the NHS if this was the level of treatment that is given as standard. From the moment I woke up and throughout the recovery period I had felt no pain whatsoever. It was honestly the most comfortable recovery I have ever had. I still cannot fathom how he did it. During my recovery period I became concerned that my septum was trying to return to its original position. I messaged the ENT ward and was very surprised to find a missed call by Mr Qureishi on the following Saturday. I rudely called him back via his private clinic and amazingly he was still happy to speak to me and address my concerns despite being on his time. 6 weeks later and my nose already looks healed. The scar is pretty much gone and my nose is now incredibly straight. I can finally breathe again which has allowed me to actually get some quality sleep, and I have also gotten my confidence back. The magic that Mr Qureishi has done has literally improved my quality of life. I cannot recommend him enough. He is truly at the top of his profession and you can tell that he genuinely cares for his patients.

Mr Qureishi performed an open septorhinoplasty on me to correct damage caused by an accident. He took care to ensure that I understood the nature of the damage, the options open to me to correct it and the pros and cons of each. He gave sound and clear advice on how to speed my recovery and the steps to take during the period following the operation to ensure the best long-term outcome. He and his team were excellent at all times and I could not have been in better hands.

I am grateful to had the opportunity to have had Mr Quereishi as my consultant at the JR hospital in Oxford. Having had several operations which were not successful he agreed to take me on and together with Mr Norris I had first class treatment. Both of them have a lovely manner about them and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Also a big shout out to the wonderful anesthetist Angus McKnight who was very gentle and caring. Thank you to all three gentlemen. Margaret Barlow
