Very caring & patient
Knew all about my history before appt
Although running late was very apologetic I totally accept I may have to wait as they are very busy .I have not seen a neurologist since before covid so it’s re assuring that my appt had a positive outcome as new administration of medication was explained which may be of great benefit to me .
I agree for M S patients the reception was not ideal as going back & forth
Even after running very late she apologised and did rush my appointment.
She explains everything in detail, spoke very clearly and on my level.
Had lots of empathy and was caring, she examined me throughly.
She explained what would /could happen next if I consented to it regarding Further MRI scan. Which I did.
I like that she clearly had read up on all my previous medical records that they hold as she knew all about my situation before my consultation.
Thank you Dr Jones I don't feel so along now following my appointment.
The are a few of things that could be improved.
Consultant and nurse could have their names and clinic written on the board outside there rooms.
More organised reception area inside the clinic rather than having to check in at clinic 32.
The consultation could be made for a longer amount of time so they don't run quiet so later.
My appointment was for 15.00 and I was seen at 15.50 - 50 minutes late...
Dr Jones really listened to me and took on board what I said. She explained everything so well giving me every confidence in her. Took time, and did a thorough examination. I was able to ask questions and came out of my appointment feeling she and her MS nurse, Harri, would do their very best for me.
Being newly diagnosed with Ms, I didn’t feel rushed in the appointment and Dr Jones explained my treatment options in full and answered all of my questions.
Joanne was very nice, listened to my thoughts, explained clearly. All great.
