The doctor was very friendly, very clear, introduced herself immediately as we were expecting to see Mr. Leff. We were immediately put at ease. Doctor Fiona was very gentle with my mother, encouraging at every moment and explained plainly and succinctly her every move. She explained in laymen's terms how the consultation was going to proceed before beginning. At the end, my mother had a lot of time to ask questions which were all answered clearly. For example, the results of her ct scan which the doctor had to pull up, breast reconstruction versus implant, and side effects of medication. The liaison nurse was there and interjected when necessary, they made a good team, in good tandem. Doctor Fiona was cheerful, but not overwhelmingly so, she struck just the right balance. Very impressed and very reassured for my mother. The plainspeak was particularly appreciated, it felt inclusive and saved a lot of time and worry. Two things that were difficult, more so than the op, was the corset (extremely uncomfortable) which made her feel like an invalid although she felt no pain from the actual op, and the huge bottles (psychological and unpractical more than anything else). The corset was really very hard on her. The nurses are angelic as well as highly competent.

I am very pleased to be seen by Dr Fiona Jane Tsang-Wright today. Her positive, welcoming attitude were quite obvious from the start to the end of my meeting with her. Her strong communication skills including listening and answering questions were impressive. She can be a good role model for other professionals regarding her professionalism and her positive attitude towards patients. I am pleased she is part of the team working with Mr Leaf as he has been excellent professional and played a key role in my case. Whatever Mr leaf said in my meeting with him he also delivered exactly. Overall I am very thankful for the care that I have received from this team so far.

She has an expertise in managing breast diseases and breast cancer. All her clinics are set up with the best patient experience in mind: she will examine the patient and then arrange for imaging to be done at the same appointment (One-Stop Clinic) as she believes that this enables her to reassure her patients as quickly as possible, and reduce the anxiety of waiting for tests. Her feedback is positive and she is proud that she can make the experience of attending her clinic as pleasant and straight-forward as possible.

Fiona is involved in all aspects of a patient's treatment, and particularly in the management of breast cancer in younger women. She uses refined oncoplastic techniques to give women the increased possibility of conserving their natural breast or for those needing a mastectomy, she is an expert in immediate breast reconstructions using an implant to create a natural breast shape. She also liaises closely with consultant plastic surgeons for autologous reconstructions such as DIEP / LD.

Fiona has worked in different healthcare systems around the world and uses the experience gained in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai for the management of her patients in the UK. She has a demonstrable record in medical management at national, regional and local levels.
