All staff are very pleasant and helpful
The anesthetist Dr Jay suggested I go for a spinal block rather than a general. I had the spinal block and would recommend it particularly for us older folks. Everybody at the Chiltern was caring, personable and very efficient, particularly the nursing staff. The food was excellent delivered with pride.
Everybody was fantastic.
On too many occasions, I had to chase up appointments that should have been made.
Received calls regarding appointments that I was not made aware of in the first place.
Equipment/user was not adequate on one occasion, so had to go back to NHS for a specific procedure.
The ward staff were also amazing and the anaesthetic team too.
Excellent service
If I ever need surgery again, after my recent total hip replacement this time, I will be going back to the Chiltern Hospital. The staff were friendly and helpful, visitors could come and go as I pleased. The hospital has recently changed hands from BMI to the Circle Group. I asked one of the nurses how she felt the change of ownership had affected her and she replied that it was better, " Circle treat the staff better" and it certainly showed in how I was looked after.
The nurses, surgeon and anaesthetist were all top notch.
Amazing experience from the consultation with Mr Appleton to the care on the day of surgery. Zoorah looked after me with great attention as well as the team in surgery.
I’ve just had a hip replacement I can only say (wow)what service went in on a Monday at 12.30 operation 2.30 back in my room 5 o’clock watching tv with a meal at 6 o’clock.
My surgeon Mr David Johnstone was incredible Look him up if you need surgery also anethestist Dr Kumar Panikkar Was amazing What a team , back home 48 hrs later The nursing care was brilliant Nothing to much trouble feel like a new man thanks everyone
I and my family have had several treatments over the y.ears, most with satisfaction.
However, at present I have been waiting several weeks for a date for a Cataract operation, and neither my Consultant or I can obtain any prospective date when it can be performed.
The administration and patient (customer ) service could be improved. Not satisfactory at all.
