Profile

I am a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist with special interests in Paediatric and Obstetric Anaesthesia. I have reached a point in my career where I really enjoy managing a variety of cases which fully utilise my wide range of skills and knowledge.
My line managers and different specialities consultants have positively commented on my flexibility in terms of dealing with a wide range of cases both Adult and Paediatric. My enthusiasm for networking and team-working has contributed to an appreciation of different people’s perspectives and is shown by the very positive feedback from experienced professional clinicians in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care as well as ODPs, nurses, midwifes and theatre coordinators. I have always received very good feedback from my patients and their relatives for my kind, respectful and empathetic approach as a clinician. I also was recently awarded an ‘Outstanding Achievement Award, Living Our Values-Creative’ for introducing an original idea for improving the perioperative experience of children. I am dedicated to ensuring that my approach to patients and families is always safe, kind and compassionate. I am committed to excellence in all that I do, evidenced by obtaining distinctions in all my qualifications.
