Dr Uncles had a wonderful manner. He was friendly, without being over-familiar. He was thorough, kind and patient. I felt I was going to be in great hands with him looking after me. He seemed to genuinely care about my well-being.

Dr Uncles made me feel at ease before my surgery and during the process before I went off to sleep before my surgery. He was very professional and I can't recommend him enough. I woke up with minimal pain compared to past surgeries.

It was explained to me what would be happening and any problems that could arise.
i was quickly dealt with and the anesthetic administered with oxygen and the next i knew i was waking up in recovery and had no after effects from the treatment.

David Uncles was extremely helpful during my recent operation. I was anxious about the general anaesthetic and my expected drop in blood pressure. He calmed my nerves and assured me he would be monitoring me at all times. He administered the anaesthetic via a mask as that seemed easier for me. He also came to check on me post-op and was very reassuring. I could not recommend him more highly.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
