Very impressed with the care I received from both Andy and his colleague today. The young lady who showed me in did an excellent job of explaining what was going to happen and was extremely patient and helpful throughout the process which very much calmed my nerves. Andy too was very clear and helpful about the procedure and took the time to go through some of the findings as well as answer my questions. Thank you.

Mr Andy Wilkinson was a kind and articulate gentleman. He explained every stage of the procedure clearly to me which I was very easily able to follow. The procedure itself was simply swallowing the barium which has a sweet taste with no after taste, and momentarily holding still while a very quick X-ray was taken, creating a snapshot of the swallow/movement from throat to stomach. There was nothing uncomfortable during this procedure. I was told immediately by Mr Andy Wilkinson of any concerns, and was told that his report would be with the consultant by the end of the afternoon. I felt very confident that I was given the best care also by the nurse in attendance with me.
