I became a patient of Professor Winter at the Churchill Hospital after being diagnosed with a cancerous neck tumour. I very much appreciated his honest, no nonsense approach to my treatment. The care & after care I have received from the whole team has been outstanding.

I visited Oxford manor hospital as a private patient due to the length of time and the wide array of options I’ve had from doctors.
Professor Winter was very attentive and professional.
I was seen straight away with a camera procedure that professor winter performed and then for bloods.
Back for a scan in no time and a result with medication and I’ve felt much better!
First time in a year that I’ve had no pain!

Professor Winter offered an excellent second opinion about a problem with my voice because of a vocal cord palsy. I live in Sweden and had previous surgery there. He looked at my notes and I had a detailed easily understandable reply, very rapidly.
It was very reassuring because it was the same as the other opinion. He also suggested some possible treatments. Very professional and kind.

I have seen Professor Winter for ENT discomfort and pain.
I was listened to and examined with care and compassion subsequently going for MRI and ultrasound scans
This was all done in short order, thoroughly and efficiently despite it all happening during assorted covid restrictions
I could not have had any better treatment not seen a more compassionate and understanding professional expert than Mr Winter
