I saw Professor Lloyd at the Spire Hospital, Leicester, following on from a couple of episodes of severe upper abdominal pain and a diagnosis of Gallstones. Professor Lloyd removed my Gallbladder on the 10th March, and has been fantastic throughout the process. Excellent at listening, addressing concerns, supportive and very friendly. I cannot recommend Professor Lloyd enough - thank you very much!

I was initially sceptical regarding having a hernia repair done privately, as I believe in the NHS - but due to long waiting lists and COVID I did so - I am so glad I did. Professor Lloyd is amazing, he listened to my concerns and I felt that he tailored the type of hernia repair I received that was best suited to my needs. The anaesthetist was also wonderful, I have a history of being very ill following anaesthetic, again he listened to me, gave me full information of what to expect and I really did not suffer any after effects. The care I received during my stay was outstanding, it was actually a pleasant experience, I was back home the same evening and back at work after 2 weeks with very little disruption indeed. The scar is aesthetically pleasing, I'm just so pleased with the whole experience and in an age where there's much to moan about - impressed with Professor Lloyds professionalism.

After waiting 3 years for NHS diagnosis of Inguinal Hernia as Low priority procedure and not able to basic things,lifting suitcases,opening Garage doors Etc.Decided to go Private.What a great decision.I did my research and found the perfect man. All I can say is Professor David Lloyd is an amazingly wonderful Surgeon at all levels from initial consultation to post operation,everything clearly explained from start to finish;I was very apprehensive prior to the operation but soon found I'd got the right man. His expertise and manner are absolutely exemplary.
