Reviews
The waiting list for gallbladder removal on the NHS was 3 years so I decided to go private. I’m so glad I did. At my consultation Professor Lloyd answered all 31 of my questions and was happy to listen to me. The surgery was booked for the following month. The surgery went really well and I healed much quicker than I expected. My incisions healed really well and I’m able to eat normally with no problems. I had a follow up with Prof Lloyd 19 days post op. My gallbladder was inflamed and had stones so needed to go. I’m really pleased with my surgery. The Spire hospital was lovely and clean and I would highly recommend it.
Bilateral inguinal hernia.
The initial diagnosis and recommended operation: laparoscopic repair was very carefully explained.
The operation under general anaesthetic was carried out within a week or so of diagnosis.
Recovery from the very well judged anaesthesia was very quick.
The operation itself resulted in immediate restoration of pain-free mobility and activity (especially important for an active 77 year old who pre-operatively had become very limited in walking distance by the hernia).
Outstanding treatment.
From my initial consultation through to post operational car I found Professor Lloyd to be highly attentive and very communicative in all aspects of my laparoscopic hernia operative care, this includes post operative consultations all of which were done in a most relaxed and genial manner.
I have no reservations in recommending Professor Lloyd for any future requirements.
