I sustained an injury from a skiing accident in March 2022, had a grade 3 ACG rupture. Was told I could continue my everyday life without an operation which suited me as I am not the best when it comes to these things! June 2023, I was playing golf and felt a really bad pain across my clavicular joint. I scheduled a consultation with The Holly Private Hospital, of whom recommended Mr Wisam Al-Hakim. I see Mr Al-Hakim for the consultation and he notified me that he would happily operate on my shoulder to put everything back to normal! Within 4 weeks I had the operation, from start to finish Mr Al-Hakim made a nervous wreck very comfortable and I genuinely hand on heart couldn't recommend this wonderful surgeon anymore if I tried! For anyone like me who is nervous to be operated on, with Mr Al-Hakim you are in the best hands! Thank you to the Holly also for making my journey easy and quick. All round a fantastic job.

Mr Al-Hakim was my orthopaedic surgeon for my long head tendon repair on my right arm. After my first consultation with Mr Al-Hakim, I felt extremely safe in the knowledge that I was in good hands. I found his approach and thoroughness on finding out exactly what was the issue with my arm very comforting. Upon his examination of the scans and his own physical examinations on me, his no nonsense explanations of the possibilities of what a surgery could do, really left me at ease with my decision to operate. Pre operation he came to check all was ok, post operation he came to tell me the operation was a success. I was delighted!! This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but upon my request, he showed me pictures of the operation. I work in construction and recognise good skill. What I saw was exceptional. Tidy clean work. His willingness to explain the procedure pre op and back up with photos post op was quite profound. Thoroughly, thoroughly, thoroughly recommend Mr Al-Hakim.

A very lovely gentleman who has replaced both my thumb joints. The operations have been a complete success, I’m pain free and I am delighted. I am returning for further surgery on a finger. I highly recommend this surgeon in every respect, everything was explained to me and my treatment first class.
