Mr Al-Hakim was my orthopaedic surgeon for my long head tendon repair on my right arm.
After my first consultation with Mr Al-Hakim, I felt extremely safe in the knowledge that I was in good hands. I found his approach and thoroughness on finding out exactly what was the issue with my arm very comforting.
Upon his examination of the scans and his own physical examinations on me, his no nonsense explanations of the possibilities of what a surgery could do, really left me at ease with my decision to operate.
Pre operation he came to check all was ok, post operation he came to tell me the operation was a success. I was delighted!!
This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but upon my request, he showed me pictures of the operation. I work in construction and recognise good skill. What I saw was exceptional. Tidy clean work.
His willingness to explain the procedure pre op and back up with photos post op was quite profound.
Thoroughly, thoroughly, thoroughly recommend Mr Al-Hakim.
