He came right to the point in explaining what treatment I need. He took time explaining the options where there were any. I felt he spoke sense and gave clarity on what will be involved.

I cannot praise Mr Boutefnouchet enough for the care & support he has given me. He is most definitely a passionate & skilled surgeon, which shines through each time I meet with him. I felt entirely confident in the plans for my knee surgery because he spent a lot of time going into plenty of detail around the specific intricacies of my surgery right up until the morning of, no question went unanswered. I have had a few knee surgeries with various surgeons by this point who have missed the main cause of my issues, which have now been resolved by 1 specific operation with Mr Boutefnouchet, something I have struggled with for 15 years, resolved! I’m now 4 months post-op (trochleaplasty with mpfl reconstruction) and I’m back to the gym, almost full range of motion, working on gaining strength back into my quads, with minimal pain and zero instability or locking unlike before!! I understand that Mr Boutefnouchet is working on supporting other professionals in the diagnosis pathway of trochlea dysplasia, through case studies, seminars and training- a huge leap for younger patients with this condition, to avoid unnecessary surgeries and years of pain like I had. All around fantastic surgeon and wonderful man.

Very knowledgeable and goes through in detail the process of pre op and post op. He was reassuring and convincing in his approach. I feel much better following the consultation with Mr Tarek as I worried about what was going to happen prior to this appointment.

An exceedingly pleasant and professional person, who was very caring, informative and explained in detail the procedure of having a knee replacement including pain and pain relief, mobility recovery and the advantages and disadvantages of surgery! He also asked if l had any questions or concerns, which he answered in detail leaving me feeling reassured about having surgery done by him Mr Tarek Boutefnouchet.

For the First time in 3 years this doctor made me feel like someone is taking notice of the severe daily pain I’m in he talked to me like I matter he actually examined my knee and could see straight away what’s wrong. Absolutely lovely man who has finally got the ball rolling so that we can sort the problem out he was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel at ease straight away.
