From first consultation to discharge Dr Awad and his team have provided impeccable care. I found Dr Awad approachable, knowledgable and friendly. He provided me with informed support amidst some health concerns and unusual blood results before the surgery. Following surgery he visited me personally twice checking on my well-being and providing detailed guidance on the speediest recovery. His team have been available to contact 24/7 since surgery with any concerns I have had, alongside a daily call with the nurse in the first week to discuss the progress of recovery. I feel like I made the correct decision with Dr Awad’s team providing me with the the best treatment and aftercare available.

I had a Gastric sleeve with Mr Awad via Tonic Surgery 6 days ago, and I'd like to express how amazing my experience was. Mr Awad gives you all the instructions you need, and he does expect you to follow them, so make sure you do too. All of the staff at Burcott Hall were amazing including Nick the anesthetist who knew I was nervous. I woke up and wondered if they had actually done my operation lol. Couple of days chilling and the recovery is going so much better than I had expected. I am so so so glad I chose Mr Awad. Including my liver shrinkage diet I have lost 24 pounds in 2 weeks and 6 days. Its a great feeling to be on my way back to being me, and I'm feeling amazing. Thank you. Kevin

Mr Awad is a very caring professional who has changed my life forever and I will be eternally grateful to him and his team . I had a Gastric Sleeve on 26th August 2022 by Mr Awad at Burcott Hall . All the staff were amazing and I was very well looked after from start to finish. I never once felt nervous and followed Mr Awads aftercare instructions to the letter and I must say he definitely knows what he is talking about as I have not had any problems whatsoever since my surgery and feel so much happier and healthier already in this life changing journey . From my very first phone call with Mr Sherif Awad he listened to what I was looking for and run through all options and put me completely at ease. He didn’t rush me and made me feel so comfortable. Once I made the decision and arrived at the hospital everything was so calm and no one made me feel anxious from the receptionist, nurses, anaesthetist and Mr Awad himself. They explain everything in such detail and ask you if you have any questions or concerns prior to being checked into your room. When I was called into theatre Mr Awad was with me when I was getting settled and reassured me before being put to sleep. Mr Awad called my sister to confirm everything went well after surgery (the personal touches mean everything to me) When I was out of recovery he come to check on me back in my room on the evening to confirm how surgery went. The following morning Mr Awad came to see me to show me my surgery in more detail including the images of what was completed. He ran through my discharge details and what is expected when I'm home. I’m due my next follow up with Mr Awad in 2 months time but in between that I have the after care contacting me (nurse, dietitian and personal trainer). Honestly I could not fault my experience with Mr Awad or his team, I did so much research into surgeons before I made my decision and would 100% pick him every time.
