Dr Guitar put my mind at ease and made sure to keep in touch before the surgery and throughout the physiotherapy process. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else needing similar surgery.

I was operated on by Mr Rohit Gupta twice; June 2016 and January 2017. Sub-Acromial Decompression of the left shoulder and Sub-Acromial Decompression plus rotator cuff repair of my right shoulder. I am glad to say that I seem to be recovering well, and a lot of this has to do with the support I am receiving from my doctor. He listens to the patient, answers all the questions, explains in great detail the procedure, makes suggestions but puts no pressure for the patient to rush to a decision. He clarifies any doubts and puts your mind at rest. A man of few words, professional, respected by the nurses and physiotherapists. I would recommend him without question.

Eventually after 10 months of pain in my shoulder I went to my GP who then referred me to Mr Gupta. I was able to get an appointment with him quickly through my private medical care and he was quick to diagnose an issue, a problem with the tendon in my shoulder. I was sent quickly for an MRI which highlighted calcium on the tendon/ in the shoulder and the next steps were to have an ultrasound guided barbotage. This relived the on-going pain that I had been experiencing for 11 months and now having had a follow up x-ray and consultation I can see that the calcium has gone, as has any pain. I have now pain free movement in my shoulder and have slept full nights with no pain too! Thanks for your quick diagnosis and care.

I recently received two sets of PRP injections in my left elbow from Rohit Gupta on April 12th and April 26th 2017. This was followed by four sessions of Physiotherapy with Matt Taylor at Prime Health in Weybridge. This procedure was to address tennis elbow that had been steadily becoming sore and painful over the prior six month period. The procedure was successful and just under three months after the first injection was administered, I now have normal strength in the joint and am pain free. I had the same procedure on my right elbow 18 months ago and that is still fine. I would recommend Rohit to anyone with upper limb issues. Rohit has a great way of clearly articulating his prognosis and delivering the required medical outcomes which combined with well-honed emotional intelligence and empathetic qualities make him a pleasure to deal with.

After several months of pain and restricted movement and several sessions of physiotherapy at St Peter's Hospital followed by hydrotherapy, I was still in severe pain with restricted movement in my shoulder. I couldn't lift my arm more than a few degrees, couldn't dress without help and was in constant pain, unable to sleep or get comfortable during the day. I went to see Mr Gupta, luckily privately with cover - but would have paid if I hadn't had private health cover. He sent me to Prime Health for an MRI. They were amazing because I was quite nervous. Results showed that I needed an arthroscopy; subscapular decompression, ACJ excision etc. Mr Gupta explained everything very clearly and reassured me that he could fix me. No amount of physio or hydrotherapy or effort on my part would have fixed my shoulder. I was booked in really quickly on Monday and was back to work on Thursday, part time and the following Monday increased hours. Mr Gupta is a genius and has literally lifted a great painful weight off my shoulders. Intensive physio for the last two weeks and I can get dressed on my own and move more comfortably. I am very very grateful.
