After being mis-diagnosed by a previous doctor over a year ago, Mr Gupta did the necessary tests and advised I had golfers elbow. After three self funded PRP injections my elbow is fantastic compared to what it was. At one time I was unable to hold a plate with my left hand without pain in the elbow. I can now hold a plate with no pain what so ever. Mr Gupta was very thorough and listened to my symptoms. I would highly recommend Mr Gupta.

Mr Gupta fixed my broken wrist. I fell just before xmas and the NHS lists were full and I couldn't get anyone else locally so Mr Gupta stepped in and operated just before xmas. The care was great. I broke my other wrist only 3 months before and in comparison, the surgery and recovery have been so much quicker. I am now only 8 weeks post surgery and almost back to full use already. Mr Gupta has been helpful and caring all the way through. I hope not to break any more bones but if I do I would definitely go straight back to Mr Gupta.

Mr Gupta’s listened carefully to all the issues related to my shoulder and then advised of the available treatment/surgical options. He was very reassuring and gave me confidence in making the decision to have the significant surgery. The surgery went well, and the wounds (both inside and out) healed exceptionally well. Mr Gupta saw me several time post op, assessing the shoulder and its progress, giving reassurance all the time with accurate predictions of future healing and progress. Overall, Mr Gupta is an exceptional surgeon who has an excellent “bedside manner”; something quite rare nowadays.

Mr Gupta undertook a Lower Trapezius Tendon Transfer (with Achilles Tendon graft) on my left shoulder (which had also had a previous rotator cuff repair) in July 2022. The care he took with the diagnosis and exploring the options was perfect. He gave me an clear explanation of the options available and why he was recommending this solution. He was very patient with my concerns and questions and gave me clear answers and made sure I understood. His care during the event was reassuring and the aftercare since has been to the same high standards. Mr Gupta also operated on my right shoulder about 14 years ago, performing a Latissimus Dorsi Tendon transfer. The repair is still ok, my shoulder works perfectly and there is no sign of arthritis, so an amazing job! I have total faith and confidence in Mr Gupta, professionally he is nothing short of a miracle worker and at a personal level, he is polite and makes you feel that he really cares for your well being. He has made such a difference to my life, I cannot thank him enough.

Left shoulder arthroscopy plus subacromial decompression plus ACJ excision plus biceps tenodesis plus rotator cuff reconstruction using superior capsular reconstruction augmentation patch insertion. After an MRI scan Mr Gupta detailed the findings and fully explained why I was experiencing pain in my shoulder and the prognosis. The proposed arthroscopic operation required was given and the expected timescale for recovery. Scheduled post operative consultations followed and physiotherapy was organised. At my 4 month consultation Mr Gupta was very pleased with my progress and anticipated I would be signed off at my final 6 monthly consultation. Having Mr Gupta as my consultant gave me confidence in undergoing what turned out to be a major procedure. He is straight talking, has a friendly disposition, and obviously very competent surgical skills.
