My first visit to the Urology Department at Guys Hospital, I met Mr Nair, a very nice gentleman. I know this because, he shows attentiveness, care, and understanding when answering my questions and concerns. He knew I was nervous and reassured me and did it again before I went into theatre. Regarding to treatment options for my diagnosis and aftercare after surgery, Mr. Nair was very informative with detailed information. The surgery went well with no complications. I stayed in the hospital for two days. The nurses were great and I was checked on by one of the doctors from Mr Nair's Team. I am recovering really well, 6 days after surgery, I was able to stop taking painkillers and was able to walk to an appointment after 7 days. As I am here, the pain management before and after surgery was superb. My family and I are surprised by the rate of my recovery after doing a partial nephrectomy. I am so grateful and just want to say a huge thank you to Mr. Rajesh Nair for the wonderful job he has done. Thank you, Doctor, I will be forever grateful.

Dr. Nair is a skilled and compassionate surgeon who I highly recommend. I was diagnosed with a giant angiomyolipoma (AML) on my kidney about 18 months ago. I was very nervous about the future of my health, and I was referred to Dr. Nair for more definitive treatment. Dr. Nair took the time to listen to my concerns and explained all of my options, including surgery. He explained the procedure in detail and answered all of my questions patiently. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process and kept me informed along the way. Dr. Nair performed the surgery laparoscopically, which was minimally invasive and resulted in a quick recovery. The surgery went very well, and I am now recovering nicely. I am so thankful to Dr. Nair for his expertise, knowledge, and compassion. He is a truly gifted surgeon, and a wonderful doctor. I specifically appreciated that Dr. Nair: - Was very knowledgeable and explained my condition in detail. - He answered all of my questions in a clear and concise way. - He was very compassionate and understanding. - He made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. - He performed the surgery laparoscopically, which was minimally invasive and resulted in a quick recovery. I am beyond happy with the care that I have revieved / continue to recieve from Dr. Nair. I would highly recommend him to anyone who may need urology expertise.

Clear and concise explanations throughout, his confident approach made me feel very at ease, Mr Nair treated me and my sibling within weeks of each other for the same condition and performed Robotic assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, he treated us both with empathy, care and kindness at all times we cannot thank him enough we will be forever grateful.

I was diagnosed with a raised PSA level 4 weeks ago. Having sent numerous emails to find a Urologist, Mr Nair's was the only one who responded. Within 24 hours we had a virtual consultation, which was very reassuring. Within a further 7 days, we had met in person, had an MRi, blood and urine tests, flow test and cystoscopy. Results were discussed in person with Mr Nair @ 9pm with an unexpected telephone call to "put my mind at rest". Truly personal and compassionate care that went beyond my expectations. Thank you
