My first visit to the Urology Department at Guys Hospital, I met Mr Nair, a very nice gentleman. I know this because, he shows attentiveness, care, and understanding when answering my questions and concerns. He knew I was nervous and reassured me and did it again before I went into theatre. Regarding to treatment options for my diagnosis and aftercare after surgery, Mr. Nair was very informative with detailed information. The surgery went well with no complications. I stayed in the hospital for two days. The nurses were great and I was checked on by one of the doctors from Mr Nair's Team. I am recovering really well, 6 days after surgery, I was able to stop taking painkillers and was able to walk to an appointment after 7 days. As I am here, the pain management before and after surgery was superb. My family and I are surprised by the rate of my recovery after doing a partial nephrectomy. I am so grateful and just want to say a huge thank you to Mr. Rajesh Nair for the wonderful job he has done. Thank you, Doctor, I will be forever grateful.
