I was referred by my oncologist to Mr Nair to remove my kidney (I had stage 4 renal cancer). My first appointment was a revelation. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic as well as being supportive and encouraging. He filled me with hope and excitement (I know it is a strange thing to say but it was true). He was efficient and turned letters around quickly and once the operation was authorised by my insurer it took place on the 19 December. The operation was a success and the cancerous kidney and its various invasions were removed. The care I received from him and his team was amazing. I was speaking to my husband on the phone at 1.30 after the operation that morning. I was out of bed and walking the next day and was home on the 5th day (in time for Christmas). The whole experience was amazing, although it was a very invasive operation (my spleen was removed as well) I always felt supported and cared for which has helped my recovery. I had my clips taken out on the 5 January so now the long journey back to health begins, he is keeping an eye on me for the next year but I believe that without his amazing skill and dedication I would be facing a less hopeful future. Mr Nair is a surgeon I would thoroughly recommend..

From the moment I met Dr. Nair, I was impressed by his expertise, compassion, and efficiency. He took the time to thoroughly explain my condition, alleviating my concerns and providing clear guidance throughout the process. His prompt diagnosis of a cyst as the source of my pain was reassuring, and he skillfully performed the necessary surgery. I was able to leave the hospital the same day and experienced minimal pain and discomfort during the healing process. Dr Nair removed my bladder and did an ileal conduit for me. I was referred to him when I’d exhausted all options and felt desperate - he is the first urologist who listened to me, patiently explained everything and eased my anxiety. The surgery itself went well and he checked in on me daily during my recovery which was amazing! He’s lovely and by far one of the best doctors I’ve ever been under. Cannot recommend him enough. He’s efficient but most of all super kind and patient. No question is a stupid one with him and as a patient who’s used to being pushed from pillar to post this meant the world.

I had a great experience with Dr Nair. His particular approach to my case and natural, straightforward communication is outstanding. Creating a trustful atmosphere base on his competence, experience and communication skills. All appointments on time, prompt explanations and clear solutions always in line with treatment plan. Surgery went well, no complications, step by step post-discharge follow up. And always smiling ! I am a doctor too and I can recommend Dr Nair very much especially from my medical perspective concerning patients approach and treatment’s effectiveness!
