Needing to have cataract surgery and KDB procedure for glaucoma on my ‘good’ eye, I was extremely apprehensive. I turned to Mr Tailor to see if he could perform the operation for me and this was arranged very quickly and efficiently. Before the operation Mr Tailor was extremely reassuring and his professionalism made me feel more confident. The operation was completely successful and his care afterwards monitoring the process of recovery was detailed and caring. I now have 20/20 vision, better than ever before and should I need further surgery with the treatment of my glaucoma condition, I will not hesitate to go to Mr Tailor again. Thank you so much.

The whole experience was first class. I cannot fault anything at all. Mr Tailor is clearly a leader in his field and I felt totally confident in his care. He took time to listen to every concern I raised and he addressed them with clarity and reassurance. He seemed genuinely delighted at the very positive outcomes in my case. The surgery itself, in both cases, were smooth and calming experiences (I'm sure sedation will be responsible for some of that!). Post treatment instructions were clear and post-op appointments were reassuring experiences both times, mainly due to Mr Tailor's genuinely caring approach. It was no surprise to me that my cataract operation, and the pre- and post-operation assessments were performed with the utmost professional care. Mr Tailor's professional competence were matched by his skilful approachability, so that I immediately felt relaxed and confident in his presence. What is not always found in doctors of his status was his surprisingly friendly attitude, and his willingness to engage briefly in a two-way conversation on non-medical subjects that are important to both of us: at that point, he turned into a 'real', 'ordinary person', someone just like me, whom I could automatically trust! I chose Mr Tailor to perform cataract surgery and lens implant to my right eye and this was performed in June 2022. My back ground was that I had suffered from glaucoma for around 20 years and had had trabeculectomies to both eyes to assist with intraocular pressure. Against that background the cataract operation was at a higher risk. However, from the start I had the utmost faith in Mr Tailor. I felt at ease in the lead up to and during the operation. I cannot fault the post operative care and monitoring to arrive at a very successful outcome. My right eye vision is fine and post operatively , after drops, my pressure is at an acceptable level. I found it easy to discuss any issues with Mr Tailor and he is a good listener.

I recently had cataract surgery and lens implant on my Right eye performed by Mr Tailor. I received excellent care and treatment. Before the procedure I was very anxious however Mr Tailor was very kind and understanding. He was extremely professional in his approach and explained everything clearly. Following the surgery I have been delighted with the results. My vision is much clearer, and everything looks so bright and beautiful. It has greatly increased the quality of my life, and has had a significant impact on my sense of well being and confidence. I have an early cataract in my Left eye which currently does not need treatment however if it starts to cause any problems in future I will promptly contact Mr Tailor. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Tailor to others. Thank you.
