I was first seen by Mr Tailor at the Oxford Eye Hospital Glaucoma Clinic during a Doctor’s strike. I was so impressed by his ability to concentrate solely on me when he wasn’t being interrupted by others calling on his expertise that I decided I really wanted him to carry out the recommended procedure (SLT laser) . I had complete faith in him, which turned out to be justified, and I continued the treatment as a private patient so that I could be sure I would be treated by him. At every stage I was grateful for the care and time he took, and his patience was exemplary as I asked questions which were thoughtfully and fully answered I will certainly turn to him if my other eye should need treatment any stage
