I attended my appointment with great trepidation - Mr Taylor was very patient, showed great humour, and was incredibly kind. He explained all the tests and procedures to me, carefully explaining the results - very grateful, many thanks
Mr Tailor was efficient, kind and considerate at each of my appointments. He took the time to answer my questions and concerns regarding my SLT procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his secretary.
I was first seen by Mr Tailor at the Oxford Eye Hospital Glaucoma Clinic during a Doctor’s strike. I was so impressed by his ability to concentrate solely on me when he wasn’t being interrupted by others calling on his expertise that I decided I really wanted him to carry out the recommended procedure (SLT laser) . I had complete faith in him, which turned out to be justified, and I continued the treatment as a private patient so that I could be sure I would be treated by him.
At every stage I was grateful for the care and time he took, and his patience was exemplary as I asked questions which were thoughtfully and fully answered
I will certainly turn to him if my other eye should need treatment any stage
Very happy to add my positive experience to these reviews. Mr Tailor has been thorough, patient and conducted two successful cataract operations. I started the process full of nerves, but Mr Tailor's attitude inspires confidence, and at no stage did I experience any pain or discomfort. Thank you.
I am delighted to share my experience with Mr. Tailor, an exceptional eye surgeon who played a pivotal role in preserving my eyesight.
In 2020, I was diagnosed with glaucoma, a condition that posed a significant threat to my vision. Through a referral, I was fortunate enough to be under the care of Mr. Tailor, a specialist in glaucoma and cataracts. From the moment I met him, Mr. Tailor's expertise and compassion were evident. He took the time to address all my concerns and provided reassurance throughout the process.
The trabelectomy eye procedure performed by Mr. Tailor was nothing short of remarkable. Despite the complexity of my case, which included prior eye surgeries for a detached retina and cataracts, Mr. Tailor's meticulous approach and skillful hands ensured a successful outcome. His dedication to my well-being was evident at every step of the journey.
What sets Mr. Tailor apart is not only his technical proficiency but also his genuine care for his patients. He exudes kindness and empathy, qualities that are truly comforting in a medical professional. I hold him in the highest regard and am immensely grateful for his expertise.
Recently, I had the privilege of being a case study at The Stoney Gate Eye Hospital's educational seminar in February 2024, where Mr. Tailor showcased his expertise to fellow surgeons and optometrists from across England. It was a testament to his reputation as a leader in the field.
I owe a debt of gratitude to Mr. Tailor for his role in preserving my eyesight. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone facing glaucoma or other eye-related issues. My heartfelt thanks also extend to Mr. Kumar, who facilitated my referral to Mr. Tailor. Together, they form a team of exceptional professionals dedicated to improving the lives of their patients.
Many thanks,
Steven Rippin
