Mr.Tozer is direct frank and also attentive,he listens to you concerns and will suggest the best way
forward .He will explain the situation fully and leaves you feeling confident of the pathway set out
before him.
The doctor listened to my comments and concerns. He then gave me the answer to these comments
He told me I could have a stoma procedure but it would not be reversible, being completely honest I felt could empathise with him and fully understand the ramifications of this surgery.
He assured me that certain procedures he can perform (seton stitch) being one could improve my life style, what with other treatment that may be possible and the taking of a new angina drug made me feel a lot more hopefull for the future as the last eighteen months have been extremely difficult.
As I stated earlier I could talk about my concerns he listened, I hope there is not to long of a Delay as with the incontinence and pain from the open wounds life has become a struggle.I found Mr.Tozer to be completely professional and caring in his judgements and made me feel more positive and confident about the future,I would personally recommend Mr.Tozer to any other patients with similar problems.
Made time to listen and very thorough explanation of range of options which he has said he will follow up in writing. Empathetic and clear and straight forward approach which I felt comfportable with.
I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent doctor.. He was not my surgeon bit provided the highest level of post surgical care to me following major surgery during lockdown. He listened to me, allowed me to be involved in decisions and was open and honest when I asked questions.
He arranged his colleague to come and assess an upper GI problem. However, that was not such a positive experience.
Thank you Mr Tozer, your care and support at a difficult time will never be forgotten.
