Poor service because of being taken for mug and misleading information where I'm getting the run around too many times because of the incompetent nurses.

The staff are always helpful and supportive. They take the time to listen and make you feel comfortable throughout your visit. The doctors and nurses are compassionate and professional, and the facility is clean and well-organized.

The nurses on Gladstone 2 are amazing. They work so hard and always treat their patients with respect and kindness. The cleaning staff need completely retraining. The toilets and sinks do not get cleaned at all. The only things you will see a cleaner do is change the bins and mop the floor. The toilets are disgusting and worryingly this is a bowel ward so the infection risks are high. Please look into this because patients shouldn’t have to be cleaning the bathrooms before they use it.

Wonderful service despite this not being our local hospital, so we travelled a long way each of the 10 times we had to attend.
Suggested improvements
No soap in ladies toilets at all on the main corridor.

This morning I had a procedure done by Doctor Manmeet Matharoo and I was so thrilled about her positive medical approach which she applied during my pre op consultation. She was very ethical while detailling what the procedure is about , discussing about potential risks and what she will do to prevent or minimise the risk. As one of Jehovah's witnesses I discussed with her about the type of treatments that I am entitled to in case of blood loos and Dr Manmeet Matharoo kindly listened to my sayings in a respectful manner without disruption . She gave me the informed consent ,form to read and sign which was highlighting optional treatment that is
sutable for me , in case of blood loss.
At the end of the pre surgical consultation, she asked me "if I clearly understood every detail" I responded "yes" and she also asked me " if I have any questions " which I replied " no, I fully understood everything ".
During the procedure.
Dr Manmeet Matharoo, performed the surgery with great care, my dignity has being respected, she talked to me, to make sure that I am OK. She explained to me about all the details about my surgery. Together with her Team she treated me with great care and respect. I feel that the hypocritical oath was in place .
