Mr Shaw Somers

I had my bariatric surgery done by Mr Somers. He is the best consultant I have ever seen. My laparoscopy went really well, I was able to move after day 2 and pain was minimum and controlled by normal pain killers. He is extremely professional, skillful and knowledgeable in his field, very humble with a great energy. Strongly recommend Mr Somers and I am forever grateful to him.

I needed bariatric (obesity) surgery because I was obese and starting to get other illnesses. Mr Somers was recommended by the expert I consulted as being a national expert who trains other surgeons and has done thousands of these operations. He talked me through the options. The surgery and (importantly) his anaesthetic colleague Dr Hasan were excellent. I had a good recovery and 48 hours afterwards took a 4 hour train journey home. The results have been excellent.
