I was referred to Mr Periyathambi Jambulingam by my GP for a consultation, he confirmed I required surgery. His kind professional manner made my hospital visit easier. His kindness and openness re any questions I had prior to surgery and subsequent follow up consultation re recovery, ensured the whole process and procedure was a success.

I found him very approachable, kind, caring and straightforward. We discussed all my concerns and he explained the operation fully and completely. He was polite, respectful and injected humour when it was needed.
My operation was very stress free and went completely according to plan.
Regarding my aftercare, again he was kind, encouraging and supportive.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Jambulingam to anyone considering undergoing bariatric surgery.

Mr Jambulingam has changed my life. He explained everything so clearly and tested my understanding. He was kind and caring but very professional and ensured I was aware of what was required of me. The surgery was straightforward and the pre and post operative care excellent. I really felt that he listened to me and that he made sure I really understood what was going to happen and the implications. He did not just assume that I knew all about it. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I wanted a gastric bypass to help with my diabetes and weight loss needs, Once I had completed the required program, Dr Jambulingam explained what the pre op required and the procedure. he did this very clearly both verbally and graphically leaving me in not doubt of the procedure I was going to have. Once the op was done he visited me in recovery to check on my progress and the next morning to check I was fit to be discharge. with this op I had a fairly pain free experience and after the 1st day did not need pain killers which shows his skill very effectively. I would recommend this surgeon to anyone requiring the same surgery as there were 4 off us in the same ward and all of use went home the day after the op. now 3 months after the op I have lost 6-7 inches of my waistline and over 20kgs in weight. my diabetic pills have halfed, I am off the blood pressure pills and my insulin is now only a third of what I used to take and is getting less, This is just my experience, remember everyone is different and you experiences could vary from mine.

I can't praise and thank Mr Jambulingham enough for his care and expertise during my recent hospital stay. Prior to my operation he fully and carefully explained exactly what would happen during the operation. Post operation he came and told me how successful it had been. He had repositioned my stomach and large intestine back to their rightful position and repaired the large hole in my diaphragm.
Four weeks later he is pleased with my progress and has now let me start on a normal diet . Thank you enormously.
