Despite all the COVID restrictions in place I have nothing but praise for both Mr Kang and his team at the Spire Hospital. I was seen on time, I was asked to explain my symptoms/problem and not only did Mr Kang provide the diagnosis he explained the condition, the process it takes and my recovery expections clearly, he also had a slide show on his lap top which showed what I needed to know in detail. He then explained clearly my options for both natural time recovery or surgery options and gave me the choice. Having arrived with concerns and fears I left total at ease with the option to call and speak with him at any time I had any concerns or questions I had failed to ask. My injury was minor compared to some I have read about on his reviews but I felt I was treated with the upmost care and consideration. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Kang

Mr. Kang was professional, caring, and courteous throughout my treatment from diagnosis to outpatient release, as well as leaving the door open should I experience any discomfort in the future. He has also been the consultant for my wife in previous years and expressed the exact same traits. I cannot recommend Mr. Kang enough and I wish all patients have the pleasure of being his patient.

Mr Kang treated me following an accident. On my first consultation I was still coming to terms and processing my injuries. Mr Kang was patient, clear and explained all options. The day if my operation he again went through all the options and made sure I understood the procedure and possible complications. I felt listen to and that he really cared about my recovery and health as well as the best option for me. I can honestly say I don't think I would be where I am now; not just physically but mentally too due to his professional manner, skill, clear communication and understanding manner. On top of all that the scar from my operation is so smooth and neat. Almost like a cat scratch!

I would like to thank Mr Kang and his team for the outstanding care I received after breaking my wrist. As a self employed carpenter it was a great relief to get full movement of my hand back. During the whole process the communication was clear and informative, allowing me to understand what I needed to do to ensure that I had the best recovery possible. Andrew Wookey

After having had surgery elsewhere on my left shoulder eight years ago my GP referred me to Mr Kang after I presented with what I thought was a similar issue. I declined a cortisone injection via the GP surgery as previous experience was not all positive, and, at my first appointment, I was fully expecting Mr Kang to recommend surgery. Mr Kang explained the results of recent research on such operations very carefully in a way that was understandable and sufficiently convincing to make me opt for an injection in lieu of surgery. After a few days it became clear that this was exactly the right thing to do and, after two very focussed and effective physiotherapy sessions, and the passage of time, I would say that the issue is now 95% resolved, and, apart from continued exercises, it is not something for which I need to seek medical help. I am unable to offer any comments regarding ways of improving the care given as Mr Kang's judgement, and the assistance I was given, could not be faulted. Mr Kang has excellent communication skills and is prepared to give the patient the time needed to absorb what for most of us is technical knowledge outside of our normal experience. I was fortunate to have been referred to him and commend him to other patients having orthopaedic issues.
