I should have done something about my knee years ago, but I kept on deferring it mostly out of fear. I eventually picked up enough courage to go and see him at Abergele clinic where he explained the complications that I had, my knee cap had dropped a couple of inches to one side, and it could be a little more complicated than normal. He arranged and operation for me three months later and told me I would be in terrible pain for a while. I had my operation in early December 2021 and I did experience severe pain as he said I would for the first two weeks, but constant exercising since has brought my mobility back and I am looking forwards to discarding all crutches and sticks in a few weeks time. Wonderful work Mr Ganapathi.

Mr. Ganapathi operated and gave me a replacement knee in November 2020. I was very pleased with the initial outcome and the way I was treated at the Spire Yale Hospital in Wrexham. After about six weeks I found I could walk without a limp and undertake physical exercise, including cycling and brisk walking. As the year progressed I was able to return to the gym and to countryside/hill walking. The scar quickly healed and I found that I was pain free. I am now able to climb up and down stairs normally and with confidence. Today, I had a twelve months review with Mr Ganapathi, which involved an X ray and consultation. He was very pleased with the condition of the replacement knee and the movement I could get. Hopefully, the knee will last for fifteen to twenty years. Throughout, Mr. Ganapathi was very open and informative. He explained in detail the process, risks and intended outcomes. He was also reassuring when needed. I know I have a knee replacement as it feels different, but it has made a massive difference to the quality of my life and I am very grateful to Mr Ganapathi and his team.

From my first consultation Mr Ganapathi was very clear what he was going to do , how long the operation last to recovery , the operation went well as he said was very hard lots of arthritis been 10 year suffering he said I should not wait any longer , after my operation back in my room I blacked out but thankful for nurses and doctors I was ok , Mr Ganapathi came to see me and explained I’d lost a lot of blood more than normal but he reassured me everything was fine and he sent me for a scan , had my 6 weeks check up today unaided walking and he was very pleased with me scar healing well , this is all down to Mr Ganapathi and his expertise in his profession, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone he’s the best about thank you you’ve made me life much more liveable thank you .

Brilliant surgeon. Recovery from knee replacement rapid - was walking over a mile on roughish ground after 2 weeks. Pain during first 10 days, then very little pain.
