I had a Colonoscopy this morning with Dr.Khan,assisted by nurses Raquel Street and Jeena Tomy ( agency nurses.) I couldn't have paid for better treatment,they were amazing,as were all the other staff.I was extremely nervous,but one of the nurses held my hand and stroked my hair during the procedure.I felt totally at ease.Dr Khan was very experienced and knowledgable,explaining everything to me. The staff on the recovery ward were fantastic too,very friendly and again knowledgable Even better when they gave me a much needed coffee and sandwich afterwards.Thank you also to the ward clerks who were also friendly,efficient and informative. Excellent care all round.Thank you.

My overall experience of Ysbyty Gwynedd has been a very positive. Kindness, support and understanding in both Welsh and English, outstanding care. I shared the day with my daughter whom is having ongoing support and care.

I can't say enough good things about the care and treatment I have received from the staff at Ysbyty Gwynedd. I've recently been diagnosied with a very rare auto-inflammatory disease which typically can take months for tests, biopsies and a final diagnosis to be done but the turn around in my case has been phenemonenal and I am so grateful to all the nurses, doctors and consultants involved. It's been a very scary (and still is!) period but Ysbyty Gwynedd have done everything within their power (even getting me sooner appointments for tests at other regional hospitals) to be able to diagnose & get my treatment started more quickly & they continue to monitor me closely. I am so very grateful to them all. Special shout outs to the eye clinic, respiratory, neurology (Walton Centre, Liverpool) and SDEC who have all been involved so far - you've been amazing. Thank you.

Went to Emergency. Everyone polite. Even though busy, with a premium on rooms and facilities, I was made to feel like my condition was important and needed investigating thoroughly. I was even asked the next day if I could return for further examination, to make sure they were fully satisfied they had covered all bases thoroughly. I cannot fault the treatment or effort made on my behalf. Thank you so much.

I was in as a day case yesterday on the Tudno Ward. Having a General Anaesthetic. From the minute I was on the ward I was greeted with kind nurses especially Ellenne who was my nurse for the day. All the staff from porters to cleaners doctors nurses anaesthetists, theatre staff were all lovely and put me at ease. The hospital is so clean. I want to thank you all for your care and extra love for Ellenne my beautiful nurse thank you. I am home now but don’t be afraid if you have to go in you will be well cared for. I have multiple illnesses so go to different departments within the hospital and they are all wonderful.

Absolutely spot on emergency service’s where absolutely brilliant I was in work and I had a terrible accident I cut my forearm with a 6 inch grinder and was bleeding heavy and I was so so scared the onset of calling 999 I was calmed down by the call handler who ever she was I am forever grateful to her not to mention Matt the first response he was amazing he stopped the bleed and prevented me having a helicopter to hospital. I felt really ill and thought it was curtains

Last year I was diagnosed with breast cancer ,from the minute of diagnosis to the end of treatment ( 18 months later ) I received the most excellent care . Miss Hwang is the most professional amazing breast surgeon and the rest of the breast care team are also so dedicated and amazing nothing was ever too much trouble,so thank you all for your great care and dedication and aftercare support. I came to the out of hours doctor as I had been unable to contact my GP on the phone two days running. Within 20 minutes of my arrival at 9am I was seen by triage, and given an ECG. After an hour I saw the doctor and she referred me for an X-ray then very soon after the doctor spoke with me again I was only 3 and a half hours in all. During our wait we were served with hot chocolate or coffee/tea. A perfect result. Just so sad that the doctors are piling extra work on hospital staff due to it being nearly impossible to get through to them on the phone lines. We can’t all wait 3 weeks for a self booking appointment.
