I had problems with my right knee for years. I was told by the NHS I required a full knee replacement but at 60 was too young. I was offered steroid injections which gave slight relief for a short time. I attended a seminar ran by Mr Ganapanathi which introduced, and explained, how Arthrosamid works. I booked an appointment with Mr Ganapanathi and following x-ray he advised this treatment for me. The procedure was quick and easy, a total of 2 hours in clinic. Post procedure (for 2 weeks) I had some mild pain but nothing to worry about. Now after 3 months I have ZERO pain and life is great. Thank you Mr Ganapanathi. I would definitely recommend this procedure.

Had a total hip replacement less than 5 weeks ago. Have been pain free and not needed any pain relief for the last 3 weeks. Mr Garnapathi has worked miracles with my hip and given me a pain free life back. In just under 5 weeks I can walk unaided and can drive. I have recently received the first of two knees from Mr Ganapathi at Bangor hospital. The treatment I received was excellent, and the result of the first operation is very good. Mr Ganapathi fully explained everything regards my procedure including the possible risks. He answered any questions I posed clearly and made me feel at ease for what was to come. Following my procedure he visited me in my room and gave me an overview of how things had gone and again explained how the staff would tend to my needs during my stay to start recovery and emphasised I should listen and follow their guidance in particular for when I was discharged to go home. Mr Ganapathi is quite strict regarding things that patients should and should not do once released to go home this is reinforced by staff and worth noting for the best outcome. Having undergone two procedures at the hands of Mr Ganapathi I would not hesitate in recommending him in his particular field to any future patients.

I had a robotic assisted total knee replacement by Mr Ganapathi. He fully explained the procedure to me including how the robotics make for a greater accuracy with resulting quicker recovery. I am totally amazed at how quick my recovery has been. Minimal pain post op easily controlled. Walking with two sticks the following morning and without any walking aids three weeks later. Six weeks post op I am now able to resume swimming and cycling, with over 120 degrees of flexion

Mr Ganapathi’s manner, both professional and friendly, immediate inspires confidence. He listened attentively and explained his diagnosis clearly and in layman’s terms. My treatment options were explained, in this case surgery, and I was encouraged to give considered thought before reaching a decision. From the very first I felt I was in a safe pair of hands. Following the consultation I decided to proceed with minimally invasive total hip replacement. My recovery has been rapid with little post-operative pain. I was walking on crutches the afternoon of my surgery and discharged the following day. I took paracetamol for pain for about a week and needed nothing thereafter. After ten days I needed only one crutch and after three weeks was walking around the house with no crutch or stick. The limiting pain and discomfort I had been experiencing for so long before the procedure has completely gone and I find it remarkable that within five weeks of the operation I am feeling so fit and strong. I have nothing but praise for Mr Ganapathi.

Mr Ganapathi from my first consultation to my medical discharge was very professional, courteous and explained in detail each step in my total knee replacement surgery including the use and purpose of the robotic aid. The outcome of my surgery in every aspect to date has been really good. My operation took place on 29th September 2025 and after 4 weeks I was able to sensibly walk short distances without the use of crutches. I can now carefully walk up and down stairs. He also pointed out the need to exercise my leg to ensure it can fully straighten and also bend to about 120 degrees. I can fully recommend Mr Ganapathy to anyone considering this type of surgery.
