Mr Alazam is a talented surgeon and a compassionate human being. His swift action and attention to detail have made a very difficult situation so much more easier to cope with. His ability to explain and answer questions in a clear and comprehensible way is second to none. I would highly recommend. His secretary is also incredibly efficient, patient and kind. They make a great team. I will be eternally grateful for their support.

I am very happy with the care I received from Mr Alazzam who was kind and patient and fully explained procedures.
I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
In addition, I would like to praise his brilliant, caring Secretary, Zoe Risk, for the exceptional help she gave this very anxious patient !

Mr Alazzam and his PA Zoe gave me wonderful care and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Throughout all the investigations, hospital stay, surgery and follow up I had full confidence in Mr Alazzam’s outstanding expertise and competence. He treated me with great kindness and respect, answered all my questions honestly and fully, and he has a great sense of humour and is never patronising or dismissive. I feel so lucky to have had his wonderful care. Zoe kept in touch with me throughout, and was always so kind and responsive and helpful that it felt like being in touch with a lovely friend. I really admired her amazing dedication and it made a huge difference to me during a stressful and worrying time. I’m on the mend now and truly grateful for all the outstanding care I received from Mr Alazzam and Zoe.

The care I have received so far has been amazing. Mr Alazzam has been reassuring throughout and the recovery from surgery has been swift and uncomplicated to date. His secretary, Zoe, was incredibly helpful through and went over and above to answer my questions and put my mind at rest.

Mr Moiad Alazzam is a consultant Gynaecological Surgeon & Oncologist at Oxford University Hospitals.
He is a recognised expert in complex gynaecological surgery both open and minimally invasive including; laparoscopy, robotics and hysteroscopic surgery.
Moiad is experienced ultraradical surgeon for advanced and recurrent ovarian cancer with complete cytoreduction rate over 80%. Moiad has a special interest in microsurgery and fertility-preserving surgical techniques. Since he moved to Oxford he joined the regional service for Abnormal Invasive Placenta (AIP).
Moiad is actively involved in the research. He is widely published and frequently invited to speak in national and international meetings. His main area of interest is health innovation and technology. He is a member of several national and international societies. He is a previous council member of British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and chaired the guidelines and robotics subcommittees.
