Mr Alazzam is a very skilled surgeon; and I had complete trust in him throughout all surgical procedures and whilst under his care. Despite his busy schedule, he took time to explain everything to my husband and I, both before and after each procedure. I am very grateful for his time, his very kind and honest approach; and his great sense of humour. It is wonderful to meet such an experienced and knowledgeable medical professional who loves his work so much; and who is so approachable and takes the time and great care to explain everything in ways that are understandable.
We are also very grateful to Mr Alazzam's PA, Zoe, who is incredibly efficient and helpful and who is also very friendly and approachable. Nothing is ever too much for her and we are very grateful for her assistance and support.
I couldn't recommend Mr Alazzam and his team highly enough or thank them enough for their fantastic care.

A charming man who listened carefully to what I had to say, went rigorously through my medical history and then referred to my CT scan results and immediately identified a problem which another specialist had completely missed/ignored. Not only did he give me a correct diagnosis, but he put my mind at rest after a very worrying period.

Mr Alazzam was polite, kind and helpful. He explained the alternative options for the investigations very clearly, and at the time of surgery went through in detail what he would be doing. The surgery went exactly as he had explained and my recovery was smooth and uneventful. I would recommend him.

The doctor made me feel at ease for the whole duration of the consultation, including during the physical consultation.
He explained things carefully and both my husband and I were able to ask questions with ease.

Mr Moiad Alazzam is a consultant Gynaecological Surgeon & Oncologist at Oxford University Hospitals.
He is a recognised expert in complex gynaecological surgery both open and minimally invasive including; laparoscopy, robotics and hysteroscopic surgery.
Moiad is experienced ultraradical surgeon for advanced and recurrent ovarian cancer with complete cytoreduction rate over 80%. Moiad has a special interest in microsurgery and fertility-preserving surgical techniques. Since he moved to Oxford he joined the regional service for Abnormal Invasive Placenta (AIP).
Moiad is actively involved in the research. He is widely published and frequently invited to speak in national and international meetings. His main area of interest is health innovation and technology. He is a member of several national and international societies. He is a previous council member of British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and chaired the guidelines and robotics subcommittees.
