Mr Longstaff has a professional but friendly manner. At each stage from the initial pre-op interview to my final assessment he has offered clear explanations of what was involved and been open to any questions. Technically everything seems to have been excellent - clean wound and good recovery. I am writing this seven weeks after a hip replacement. I would certainly recommend Mr Longstaff and the supporting team at Spire Hospital, Washington to friends and I would go back to him for a second hip replacement if I found myself in similar circumstances.

I honestly cannot fault Dr Longstaff, he is extremely professional and courteous. My pre and post op meetings with him were very helpful and he made sure I understood the process every step of the way. My actual operation was a total success and he was very helpful immediately afterwards. If/when my second hip needs replacing I will be very much at ease if Dr Longstaff is my surgeon.

He is open and honest explaining clearly what to expect from the operation and possible out comes. I had a hip replacement. Results are excellent after 3 weeks with very clean and minimal scaring, more like a pencil line. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Longstaff or if I ever need further surgery I would want him to perform it.
