Listened to my needs and arranged very prompt surgery. He persuaded me tot have a full anaesthetic but to have a spinal block as it enhances recovery. This proved to be the case and would recommend the spinal block to anyone having a total knee replacement. The operation was performed with Dr Maholkar being assisted by robotic surgery which also enhanced my recovery period. The success of the replacement right knee has reduced the strain of my left knee which also needed replacement resulting in me not currently needing it as I now have no problems with either knee!!

I cannot praise the care I was given highly enough. Mr Moholkar worked a miracle when he replaced my knee. It was pretty painful when I got home from hospital but as soon as I felt able I started to exercise. I was not able to have face to face physiotherapy due to covid but followed exercises on line. I can now enjoy walking again. Thank you Mr Moholkar and staff at ROH.

Mr Moholkar took time to see me during my first visit, looked at my xrays and knee before explaining the proposed operation, this gave me confidence to have the knee replacement.

Mr Moholkar was very efficient and competent in explaining all the risks of the procedure that I needed and what the likely outcomes were, and ensured that I was listed immediately.When I first saw him in clinic I have to admit I felt a little rushed and overwhelmed, but this was likely because my appointment was at the end of a very long clinic and just before the xmas break. As soon as I saw him on the day of my surgery, however, Mr Moholkar completely put my mind at ease and explained exactly what was going to happen in the surgery. I felt like I was in very safe hands. His secretary has been excellent and very easy to communicate with - many thanks to Mr Moholkar and his entire team.
