For several years due to problems with my knee my life was made difficult.. i had seen other Dr`s and specialists then I was referred to Mr Shahid he said i needed a full knee replacement . I went to Redditch hospital where on the 4th May 2018 he did my operation . To start with I wished i hadnt had it done but stuck with physio and determined to get right i pushed on . Mr Shadid has fantastic bedside manners and listened to me and explained everything in detail . Now 1 year later i am back walking the dogs (I look after dogs as my job) I walk over 12 miles per day and best of all after an absence of 5 years I am back showing my dogs even handling at Crufts. I cant thank Mr Shahid enough for giving me my life back .. THANK YOU

I recently had a total knee replacement carried out at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. Mr Shahid was from the outset very caring and reassuring He was courteous and professional throughout the entire process. I was kept fully informed about what to expect regarding recovery and the eventual outcome. The operation went perfectly. He did an excellent job and I cannot recommend him highly enough. The outcome is so much better than I had hoped or thought; Mr Shahid erred on the side of caution, promising that the ever-present arthritic pain would be gone and after only a few weeks I would be virtually pain free. I can't thank him enough for giving me my life back. A huge thank-you also to his team, and the staff at the Alexandra Hospital, who were friendly, professional and did everything in their power to assist in my recovery.

Mr Shahid is a genius. My hip op went like a dream, my scar is practically beautiful. I am recovering really well, no pain from the joint, although slight ache in the muscles and some discomfort from gait re-adjustment. If you are wondering whether to go through with the op or not - go for it. My life was almost immediately changed 100% - and I get better everyday.

After attending the Orthopaedic clinic in Worcester for many years and then meeting Mr Mohammad Shahid in 2018 he suggested that I could have treatment(a total hip replacement) for my problem which I had had since I was a child. When I was 14 years old I experienced a slipped upper femoral epiphysis of the left leg.I had my surgery in February this year(2019) and it is wonderful to be pain free and I am very grateful to Mr Shahid for treating me.I would also like to praise all the staff at the Alexandra Hospital Redditch for their care and professionalism, once again Thankyou.
