Having surgery with a two night stay in 2023. I have never felt more cared for and relaxed when having a procedure. The aftercare was absolutely wonderful. All staff from nurses, catering, receptionist and cleaners were all professional and friendly. The kindest and warmest of hospitals. Well done Droitwich Spa hospital!

All good, just watch out for the car parking & sign in at the desk. I wasn't asked to and received a £100 fixed penalty, this was eventually waived but after some hassle.

Ward doctor; recovery and nursing staff as well as housekeeping team were friendly and approachable. Listened to needs especially in 24-48 hrs post op. Food and drink was of a high standard and varied menu. Thank you.

Right from the moment I stepped inside the hospital I could tell that my experience was going to be excellent as the receptionist was polite and efficient. My pre-op tests were carried out by a nurse who took the time to talk to me about any concerns and spoke very highly of my surgeon so that any fears were dispelled. Then when I arrived for my treatment I was treated respectfully and more like a guest than a patient - I was even escorted up to my room by a lovely young lady, who chatted all the way, to put me at ease. The room was very clean and the nurses were all very pleasant and helpful. The best bit was when after surgery I was offered a drink and I was brought a pot of tea on a tray with biscuits, when to be honest I was expecting a cup of tea in a Styrofoam cup. It is more like a hotel than a hospital so well done to all who work there.

I have just returned from BMI Droitwich Hospital where the consultant, Jonathan Luscombe was to administer a steroid injection into my hip to relieve excruciating hip, groin and knee pain due to arthritis. From the moment I walked through the door I was looked after and cared for in a safe and very caring manner. I had watched videos on YouTube about steroid hip injections under X-ray so I kind of knew what to expect. Mr Luscombe however undertook the procedure in a far more efficient manner than what I had seen and it was all over very quickly and relatively painless. Everything was explained to me and I felt instant pain relief though I understand that is due to the anesthetic. The steroid will kick in over the next couple of days. I cannot thank the whole team enough especially Mr Luscombe and nursing staff for their kindness and empathy and would heartily recommend this hospital.

My experience with BMI Droitwich throughout all stages of visit from seeing the reception desk to receiving full surgical treatment and the subsequent aftercare has been very satisfactory. Specifically I acknowledge excellent treatment from my surgeon at BMI for his very caring attitude and advice plus practically painless surgical operation (on my left hand trapeziometacarpal joint).
