Listened to my needs and arranged very prompt surgery. He persuaded me tot have a full anaesthetic but to have a spinal block as it enhances recovery. This proved to be the case and would recommend the spinal block to anyone having a total knee replacement.
The operation was performed with Dr Maholkar being assisted by robotic surgery which also enhanced my recovery period. The success of the replacement right knee has reduced the strain of my left knee which also needed replacement resulting in me not currently needing it as I now have no problems with either knee!!
