I recently had lower lid entropion surgery at Kingston Hospital which was performed by Mr. Beare. From the initial consultation and throughout the surgery, Mr. Beare was kind, considerate and took the time to explain the procedure. I am oxygen dependent and was somewhat anxious about lying flat on my back, however; Mr. Beare and the team acted in a calm and efficient manner to ensure that I was positioned correctly - true professionals.

Mr Beare gave a most courteous, considerate & caring service. He made me feel that he was really interested and involved, as well as being punctual, gentle & efficient. He even came into the waiting room to collect his own patients when visited in Outpatients, & throughout the whole procedure I felt the very best practice was being operated.

The morning I spent at Kingston Hospital was very organised and ran smoothly. I was quite nervous about the operation but all the medical staff were very calm and friendly and put me at my ease. I was very impressed with the care and consideration given to me by everyone in the operating theatre and Mr. Beare gave me a running commentary through the operation telling me what was going on, which helped me a lot. Altogether it could not have been an easier experience.

Mr Beare had recommended me for a bilateral blepharoplasty, performed 10 days ago. He, and his team, was outstandingly professional, courteous and kind. Mr Beare performed the operation and, with me locally anaesthetised, talked me through the procedures as it progressed. His surgical skills were obvious and of the highest standard. The outcome was immediately excellent, with my peripheral vision improved greatly. There were no adverse post-op events, including pain or bleeding. The after-care from the nurses was equally excellent. I cannot think of anything he, or his team, could do to improve their already excellent service.

From the initial meeting through to the actual procedure I had every confidence it was going to be painless and successful.I was not disappointed and extra care had to be taken as I am diabetic.I can now read without glasses for the fist time for nearly 30 years and cannot wait to have the other eye done to improve my distance vision
