I was seen promptly, was treated with professionalism, care and respect. My concerns were understood and addressed with information regarding future treatment carefully explained. Overall one of the most comforting consultations I have had.

I was seen within fifteen minutes of my appointment time. The consultation was relatively brief but my notes contained all the necessary and relevant information from previous consultations. I was advised of the risks associated with surgery. Mr Hewes was professional and polite throughout the consultation and I didnt feel hurried in any way. I came away with all the information I felt I needed but would have felt comfortable asking for more information had I needed to.

Went to see Mr Hewes expecting to be given the run around in typical NHS fashion, but his approach was businesslike, measured and completely took my needs and circumsatnces into consideration. You might even say he took the wind out of my sails as I was expecting to have to argue my case having previously been warned that I probably didn't meet all the criteria for surgery. All in all a refreshing attitude to patient care.

I had to wait approx 60 minutes. Mr Hewes was polite and listened well. He took time to discuss my symptoms and the procedure required.
