The Spire Bristol is extremely friendly and well managed by all you meet. The first appointment, my husband and I met my surgeon Mark Nowell concerning a very difficult operation. I returned home so much happier about my forthcoming operation.. Mark explained everything to us and I felt so much more confident in myself and I had every confidence in him. my husband felt the same. He visited me on the morning of my operation also with his very nice anaesthetist, who told me he was going to look after me really well. This really put me at ease before my operation, which was really nice. Mark also personally phoned my husband afterwards to say I was okay in ICU and all had gone well. This was greatly appreciated by my husband and then Mark also left a message for me with the ICU nurse which was wonderful. Mark really does keep his eye on everything to do with your treatment. He’s a wonderful surgeon. I really cannot convey how much all these things help to make my stay so very good. The nurses are all really helpful and friendly, especially George and Diana. The food was absolutely fantastic too, a lot of choice also which made it really nice. A huge thank you to you all from my husband and myself. We really couldn’t have felt happier.

All the clinical staff were friendly and efficient nothing too much trouble especially during the night. Made sure I was fit enough to go home after operation even though it did seem a bit soon but they obviously knew best. Only problem I had was with the Admin. Even though I had a self funding package received 3 invoices which amounted to nearly £900 that I had to sort out took nearly a month. These charges were allocated to me by mistake for treatment I did not receive.
