All of my appointments with Mr Wilson were at the Spire Hospital Bristol. All staff at the Spire were very helpful and all my appointments with Mr Wilson were on time. Mr Wilson always made all the information very clear which was very helpful when it came to me making the decision to proceed.

I've had 2 hips replaced at this hospital in the last 3 months. I've made excellent progress so far, just 2 weeks past the second surgery. Its a great hospital with friendly, caring and highly professional staff. A big shout out to Nurses Gaby, Bev and Kate who looked after me with warmth and compassion when I was at my most vulnerable. There were of course other great nursing staff whose names I don't recall. Everybody in my experience works with commitment and care. The guy in the car park is dedicated beyond the call of duty to organising an often busy car park. I've seen him absolutely soaked with rain! There's the lovely joyful warm lady with the french accent who brings the food. The reception staff are efficient and polite. Everybody makes a difference to what is a bewildering and anxious time. The staff who took me to theatre were reassuring and kind.... And of course a big thank you to my surgeon Jason Webb and to aneasthetists Deborah and Ben for their skill, dedication and reassurance.

Had surgery at the Spire a couple of months ago. From check in 7am until discharged following day, everything was amazing. All staff that i encountered from nurses, anaesthetist, porters etc were all very friendly and helpful. I would have no worries about staying here in the future and would highly recommend.

The whole experience was very good. Very efficient, always seen on time, staff were lovely. I’m female and had all male nurses. They were brilliant, they made me feel very comfortable and treated me with complete dignity. Hospital room was very clean and comfortable, food was very good. Overall a very good experience.

I had a partial knee replacement on Friday 16th May 2025, being discharged 3 days later. Everything was perfect, from the staff, facilities to cleanliness and food. I was particularly impressed with the nurses, catering staff, physiotherapists, cleaning staff, consultants and reception. I would go back there any time for medical issues I might have.

As an NHS patient I am very pleased with all the care I received at the Spire Hospital & I felt I was treated no differently than if I had been paying. I was extremely lucky to be in a private hospital as I knew that my operation was done by the consultant of my choice. I was very impressed that about 10 days after my operation I was contacted by someone at the hospital to check that all was well.

The staff I met, receptionists, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacist, and catering, have all been professional friendly and supportive. The whole experience at the Spire has been first class. I can't think of anyway to improve the service. In addition, the man manning the barrier for the car park was very helpful in helping to find a place to park in a busy car park. Full marks to him.
