Mr Gibbs and his team have now replaced both my hips in the last 15 months and I can't be happier. His helpful and caring nature was really assuring and level of care was second to none. The whole process was so easy and quick and I'm now looking forward to rediscovering the quality of life I have been struggling with over the last few years. I can't thank Mr Gibbs enough for making this possible.

Mr Gibbs was recommended to me both by neighbours, who had been in his care and by my GP. I found the first consultation with him very reassuring. He listened to my account of the hip pain I experienced, checked the mobility and level of pain I showed on movement. He was kind and sympathetic throughout. He explained the operation procedures clearly and answered the questions I had. I was admitted in 6 weeks for a hip replacement. Having a spinal anaesthetic rather than a general was a good experience and meant a much more pleasant and quicker recovery after the operation. Mr Gibbs looked in on me to check progress over the weekend and I felt well looked after even though he was probably off duty. I was very well cared for by all the nurses and was home in 3 days. Three weeks later I had a final check up with him. All was well healed. I was amazed to be up and walking so quickly. After only 3 weeks I didn’t need pain killers or crutches and was walking around freely. After months of hip pain it was marvellous and I am so grateful for Mr Gibbs’s skill and care and kind manner.

I had a robotic knee replacement two days after being at home ( and doing my exercises) I feel very comfortable walking with one crutch. I had put the operation off for so long but didn’t realise that it would be so unobtrusive. I could only thoroughly recommend Mr Gibbs and his team who gave me excellent care.
