Mr Polyzois operated on my shoulder following an accident at work. Mr Polyzois is without a doubt a brilliant surgeon and his excellent surgical skills were used with great success on my injury. I found Mr Polyzois to be kind, considerate and above all truly interested in returning my shoulder to optimal movement. I had no movement at all in my shoulder I couldn’t get dressed or wash my hair unaided, I could not drive and everything was just so very difficult physically for me at that time. Mr Polyzois is incredibly generous and gentle and will put you at ease within minutes of your consultation. Without any doubt at I can say that Mr Polyzois is a man you can trust to do the very best for you in your your most woefully painful days. The operation was successful and the course of recovery made possible by the operation followed by intense physiotherapy achieved our joint goal of returning movement to my shoulder allowing me to live life fully again. Have no doubt that when selecting Mr Polyzois as your consultant and surgeon you are getting the best of the best in Orthopaedic surgery. I will always be extremely grateful for his expertise and excellent care. Mr Polyzois is in my view is the best of the best. Thank you.

Mr Polyzois strikes me as a hard working individual who cares and is always willing to listen to your point of view. He would always make sure you understood what was going on. I particularly like the fact that when I brought up unproven treatment, platelet rich plasma (PRP) he did not dismiss it and happily went along with my wishes. His surgery on my torn rotator cuff went smoothly without hitch. I was healed and discharged within four months. So far so good. Would highly recommend.

I saw Mr Polyzois after dislocating and injuring/chipping my elbow with the result that I could not straighten my arm despite physiotherapy work. He performed a cubital tunnel release - basically cleaned out the debris/blockage and 'woke up' some of the soft tissue. My elbow joint is now capable of the full range of movement. Post-operative physiotherapy is ongoing and this type of injury takes a long time to fully repair but having the operation has already made a substantial improvement to my quality of life and I anticipate being able fully straighten my arm within 12 months.

I have been suffering with elbow pain for a number of months before I was referred to see Mr Polyzois. From the first consultation I felt very comfortable with Mr Polyzois, he was very professional, approachable and easy to talk to. He listened attentively to my history and symptoms and discussed the problem in reassuring manner. I was diagnosed with Tennis and Golfers Elbow and following MRI scans Mr Polyzois recommended course of PRP injections. These have been performed over a period of 5 months and the conditions improved greatly and are still improving. He was very patient with any questions I had and was especially supportive when I had to have time off work. He provided a report to my employer to ensure that I could take the needed time off without worry, and could concentrate on the recovery. He listened and put my mind completely at ease, especially when I was getting concerned about taking time off work. He is a very understanding and caring doctor and I trust his advice and feel he has my best interest at heart. I could not recommend him more highly. Mrs Walker

I was very fortunate to get Dr Polyzois to care for my shoulder injury. Not only did I get exceptional medical attention and care from the doctor, I also felt respected and heard throughout the process - from articulating my problem to assuaging my fears. When you visit a doctor, it is imperative to get clear prognosis and care but also a respectful level of comfort and professionalism. That was my experience. Thank you Dr Polyzois!
