The doctor has a reassuring manner and was very thorough in his examination. I have had clear advice and I feel I have had first rate treatment.

Thorough examination, explanation and surgery. Although in my 80's I was treated with patience and respect.

An excellent and understanding doctor who gave me much confindence in myself regarding the hernia (found after an examination and a CT scan two years ago) and groin pains I was currently having. After examination it was decided that no surgery was currently needed but I was advised if my symtoms worsen or I become aware of a swelling then to contact the Hospital General Surgery directly rather than go through Lancaster Medical Practice (this was good to hear considering the current status of ringing up for a doctors appointment). I would give more star ratings if I could, I cannot fault the doctor and any of the staff in the way they attended to me, a big thank you.

This doctor was fab! He made us as parents feel totally at ease when discussing my son's hernia operation. More importantly he build a good relationship with my son by finding a common interest in football. My soon liked this doctor and trusted him. My husband and I can't rate this doctor enough. He was everything I expect of how a doctor especially when dealing with kids should be. It's sounds silly but obviously no parents wants a child in hospital but if you have to recommend a doctor this is the guy. My husband and I would like to thank this doctor for doing a fab job on "fixing" our sons hernia but also for making a first hospital trip for a scary operation to a nervous 6 year a pleasant experience. The nurses Linda and kat were excellent too. The children's day patients ward at Lancaster had fab staff the day we went (wed 22 June 2016) we are very thankful for how we were treated. My son's rafferty review said "the doctor was cool? He was so clever at being a doctor but silly and funny with football joke and the nurses were as nice as mummy!".....can't say better than that now can we? ?!

He instilled confidence and trust in you by his manner and knowledge. He made a great effort to connect and find common ground to talk to my son in order to help him relax. The service at the hospital was great, all staff were professional and we were happy with all parts from the initial consultation, dealing with his secretary and the operation and aftercare.
