Mr Robertson did an operation to repair my hernia at Spire hospital in Leicester. He came highly recommended by a friend on whom he had performed a similar operation just a few weeks earlier. I have to say that I have not been disappointed in any way. At the initial consultation he explained fully in language that made it very easy for me to understand, exactly the type of hernia I had, and what he would do to repair it. The operation went ahead only 3 weeks after that initial consultation. He came to see me once I had woken up to reassure me that it had gone well. The care I received at Spire was superb, and my recovery time was remarkably quick. I cannot recommend Mr Robertson highly enough. Not having private health care insurance I was self funding, but it was money very well spent.

Mr Robertson was thoroughly professional and provided full details of the procedure in a calm measured way. Post Op he visited me soon afterwards and explained the likely recuperation period which has proved to be totally accurate. No hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Mr Robertson recently performed a repair on my hernia which was causing a lot of pain, his calm confidence was very reassuring, the operation was a complete success and I have been without pain ever since. The operation was performed at the Spire Leicester and everything was perfect.

Since 2017 Mr Robertson has now treated me for 3 hernia's with the minimum of physical discomfort and stress. I believe that it is unreasonable for a patient to expect a 100% guarantee that any surgery will be successful and without risk. Therefore, it was important to me to select a surgeon in which I had complete faith to achieve the best possible outcome from a procedure.
