Couldn't have been better treated. He was cheerful, caring, kind and he listened.
Thank you!
Friendly, caring and totally professional with empathy for his patients. A lovely guy and an absolute pleasure to have met.
Thank you!
I came to the Orthopedic department in 2016 with a broken Talus bone. I saw Mr Chakravarty who identified the severity of my injury and insisted that he would not allow me to leave the hospital that day without having a CT scan and be seen by the ankle specialist. All this despite it being 5pm on a Friday. I was booked in for surgery the following day, Saturday.
I have continued over the past 2 years to receive care from Peterborough hospital- from Orthopaedic department, Physiotherapy to Orthotics. I have suffered from a mortons neuroma as a result of this break which has resulted in prolonged treatment. On my visit today I saw Mr Chakravarty once again, as a result of this neuroma. I found him the same as I did 2 years ago, incredibly friendly and professional. On both occasions he took the time to explain the condition to me and the various treatments and outcomes of each option which as a patient is important in helping one retain a feeling of control over one's complaint.
I feel that as a result of my initial appointment with Mr Chakravarty that I received the best care possible for my ankle and that I have recovered well and am in a far better place physically as a result. Thanks to the whole team at Peterborough- the surgeons and physios- my ankle is almost back to new. But I credit with Mr Chakravarty's initiative and determination as the reason that I have been so fortunate to have an ankle that has healed well and one that I can use as before- which is something that is very hard to put in to words, when at one stage the future with this ankle looked far more bleak.
Thank you!
