My partner was an inpatient recently as an emergency following an infection which affected his hip replacement ( done approx 5 years ago) . He needed an exploratory operation and then further surgery to cleanse and debride the hip replacement. Mr Chowdhury has been nothing but professional, kind, informative and genuine. A real credit to the hospital and the department. Thank you.

Mr Chowdhury did a knee replacement for me in May this year. My knee was really bad and the operation was challenging i think. I spent 19 days in hospital where everything was done to extreme to help my stubborn wound to heal. The result now, some 4 months on is a perfectly performing painfree knee. I think Mr Chowdhury is a truly brilliant surgeon and would recommend him wholeheartedly.

I liked this man from the first time I met him, he says it like it is, he is approachable, answers questions no matter if it seems irrelevant, he is genuinely interested in both questions he asks and answers given. When I had my knee replacement I was under no illusion that if the procedure failed it would be my fault through not putting in enough effort with post op exercise etc, well, not wanting to be told off, this is exactly what I did, and, today, during my follow up appointment, praise and credit was given for progress made! Well done Mr Chowdhury, you are a Prince amongst men!
