I received amazing care and support from Mr crosby. I was treated for an insect/bugbite which lead to me needing an operation to clear the infected wound.. it was suspected to be a false widow spider bite. I'm now on the road to recovery and I cannot fault anything he did. I was also allowed to leave the hospital to visits my nan who was terminal with bowel cancer stage 3 & was deteriating we was told she had days. He was very sympathetic and understandable I was so greatly appreciated that I could see my nan incase anything happened. My nan passed a week after my operation which I had on 3rd April. She passed 10th April. I wasn't wanting to be in hospital but honestly Mr Crosby reassured me also made me feel very at ease considering I was anxious with my past experience of being held in hospital (galstones) - I cannot fault anything, I'm proud I had an amazing surgeon and doctor who dealt with myself. Road to recovery

Mr Crosby had a wonderful manner, while at the same time, treated me with great concern and in an unhurried way. He was careful to explain fully my options for the best outcome and involved me in looking at the x-ray findings with him. Usually afraid of needles (!) Mr Crosby put me totally at ease and I had no fear of the steroid injection which he administered - nor did I feel any pain either during or after it. The condition from which I had suffered for the previous five months rapidly improved after this and I am happy to say that I have now fully recovered. This is entirely thanks to Mr Crosby.

Dr Jonathan Crosby cared for my Mother at Stamford hospital when she broke her wrist & 2 fingers in the New Year. He then operated on her wrist on 11/6/2014. In the past my Mother has felt patronised & at worst ignored, she feels because of her age but Dr Crosby is an extremely caring and compassionate Doctor who put my Mother completely at ease. She was 100% confident in the care that she received from him, & wishes that all Doctors could take a leaf out of his book with their "bedside manner". I would like to add my thanks to Dr Crosby for taking such care of my Mother as what was a worrying time of her life, & I would like to echo her sentiments regarding his caring manner.
