I was really impressed by Mr Chau. The procedure was explained clearly and I felt confident to proceed with the operation. Mr Chau is a really warm and engaging surgeon, who reassures and is happy to answer any questions about what the operation entailed, including the adverse issues that could occur. I appreciated his honesty. Thankfully, the hip replacement is a complete success! I've even promised Mr Chau and his family front row seats when I make my debut with the Scottish Ballet Company! I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Chau as a terrfic surgeon.

Mr. Chou was professional, attentive and empathic. He discussed all options with me and the benefits and risks involved. After the surgery was completed, he again went through the outcome and follow-up procedure. At the first appointment post surgery, he showed me the X-rays taken after the prosthetic was fitted, explaining clearly the success of the procedure . A further appointment will take place in a years time, when progress will be reviewed and further X-rays taken.

The outcome of my hip replacement has been a great success. After 8 weeks I am now pain free and am able to resume an active life again. I did follow the recommended pre-operative exercise program and the post operative exercise program that may have added to my speedy recovery. I am only left with a faint neat scar. I attribute this success to the skill and care I received from the hip replacement surgery performed by Mr Daud Chou. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions regarding the materials used and having bloodless surgery. I am totally satisfied with the care, skill and professionalism of Mr Daud Chou.

I found Mr. Chou to be a kind and listening person. His understanding of the issues with my hip and my knees was refreshing and put me at ease. At the first consultation all these were discussed fully. It was only 4 weeks from the consultation to the operation. The admission into the Spire and the operation were faultless. The out come exceeded my expectations, i had little pain and was out of bed the following day, the physiotherapist was very happy with my mobility and said i could go home, but i stayed for another day.!! I am sure this is all down the skill of Mr. Chou and his team and the pre. op. preparation. I disgarded my sticks after 2 weeks, driving after 4 weeks, and back in the gym after 6 weeks. It has changed my life, thank you.
